On October 2, Comfort Supply, Inc. held their third Annual Charity Golf Outing benefiting the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. With more than 138 golfers and volunteers in attendance, they were able to raise over $16,500 for the organization—a donation that translates to about 82,000 meals for families in need!
“Months of planning go into this event every year, and it is so exciting and rewarding when we are able to cut the final check!” said Sarah Zuk, Comfort Supply’s Marketing & Events Coordinator. “The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank does an outstanding job of managing their sourcing and logistics, and every dollar donated equates to approximately 5 meals. Many of these meals go to children and the elderly, and it feels great to be able to give back to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.”
A special thanks to the many donors and volunteers who helped to make Comfort Supply’s event a success.
